When you request a quote, submit a referral, contact us, or otherwise interact with our forms, we collect information such as your name, phone number, email address, service address, and any details you choose to include about your property or energy needs, such as property information, utility information, energy usage, or project details.

When you visit the Site, we and our service providers may automatically collect technical information such as IP address, browser type, device information, pages viewed, referring URL, and general location derived from IP. Information from third parties. We may receive information about you from referral partners, marketing partners, and publicly available sources, such as utility rate data or property records used to prepare a proposal.
Financing information. If you apply for solar financing, that application is submitted directly to the third-party lender you select. Solar by Esmay does not collect or store your full financing application, credit information, or Social Security number submitted through the lender's financing portal.

Service providers. Vendors that help us operate the business, including hosting, CRM, email/SMS delivery, analytics, advertising, call tracking, scheduling, payment processing, and similar services. These providers are authorized to use information as necessary to provide services to us.
Financing partners. If you request financing, we may direct you to a lender. Your application is submitted directly to that lender under its own privacy terms.
Installation and permitting. Contractors, agents, utilities, permitting authorities, and inspection agencies as needed to design, permit, install, interconnect, and inspect your system.
Legal and safety. When required by law, subpoena, court order, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Solar by Esmay, our customers, or others.
Business transfers. In connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets.
Some of our advertising and analytics partners, including Google and Meta, may receive information through cookies and similar technologies to measure advertising, understand Site activity, and deliver or measure relevant advertising across other sites and services. Depending on applicable law, this activity may be considered the "sharing" of personal information for targeted or cross-context behavioral advertising.
